Kiwi fruit plant is woody vine that spread upto 15ft wide. Pruning in the winter is must for better production. Most of the common kiwi fruit plant is dioecious , that means individual plants are male or female.

Kiwis are available unripe in most of the markets.Ripe kiwis yield slightly to gentle pressure. Kiwis can be ripened at room temperature.So to ripen kiwis keep the fruit in paper bag and leave it in room temperature,until it is ripe. Ripe kiwis can be stored in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
