Kiwi is a small oval fruit, about two inches in size. It has a brown hairy skin and juicy green flesh with black edible seeds.

Kiwis are available unripe in most of the markets.Ripe kiwis yield slightly to gentle pressure. Kiwis can be ripened at room temperature.So to ripen kiwis keep the fruit in paper bag and leave it in room temperature,until it is ripe. Ripe kiwis can be stored in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
